Luxury vacations in Latin America are the focus for Latin American Journey, enhancing its 2017-2018 program with an expanded roster of exceptional experiences and award-winning luxury accommodations featured on its eight-day –- PERU – ALL DREAMS INCLUDED --- visiting Lima, the Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu and Cusco.

Specialists in custom travel, “Latin American Journeys - Fiesta Tours Peru” prides itself on being able to deliver the broadest choices in memorable, carefully-crafted and luxurious Peruvian experiences,” says the company director, Jesus Lopez. He points out that at Machu Picchu alone, travelers can choose from 13 different experiences, ranging from guided site visits, hiking Huayna Picchu and day trekking on the Inca Trail, to taking to the thermal baths in Aqua Calientes or taking a cooking lesson.

Experiences in the Sacred Valley are no less varied, from visiting Ollantaytambo archaeological site to the Indian markets of Chinchero and Pisac to soft adventures such as river rafting, mountain biking and horseback riding.

And luxury hotel partners on the –- PERU – ALL DREAMS INCLUDED --- include Explora, Inkaterra, Belmond and Relais & Chateaux properties.

Your first two nights in Peru are spent in Lima, 15th century capital of the first vice-royalty in New World and today’s capital of culture, commerce and world-famous cuisine. Perched above the blue Pacific, Lima is a rich kaleidoscope of colonial architectural jewels, revered pre-Columbian sites, charming residential areas and vibrant shopping districts. Your private half day city tour will include the 16th century Plaza Mayor (Main Square) still graced by the Government Palace and City Hall. Visit the Cathedral and 17th century San Francisco Convent with its underground Catacombs cemetery. Among the many possible museums in Lima, everyone’s favorite is the Larco Museum, displaying the largest private collection of Peruvian pre-Columbian art in the world. And, of course, you’ll be dining deliciously at award-winning venues.

From Lima fly off into the Andes for a two-night stay in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, linking Cusco---ancient capital of the Inca Empire---and the famed Machu Picchu. “On landing in Cusco (altitude 11,200 ft.) we go immediately to the Sacred Valley (9,000 ft.) to acclimate to the Andes at a lower altitude,” advises Latin American Journeys director Lopez, who adds that another important aspect of this itinerary is that it follows the sequence of history: first visiting in the Sacred Valley important archaeological sites such as the Moray terraces and large archaeological complex of Ollantaytambo; next boarding the luxury Hiram Bingham train on a scenic journey---panoramic views and delicious food--- to iconic Machu Picchu for an overnight stay and exciting exploration of the ruins of this pinnacle of Inca civilization; ending with one night and sightseeing among the treasures of Cusco, where the meeting of the Spanish Conquistadors and the Inca Empire is on display everywhere. Start with the colonial Plaza de Armas where the baroque Cathedral---with its unique 17th and 18th century Cusco School paintings---was built on top of the Inca Viracocha’s palace.

Booking this PERU – ALL DREAMS INCLUDED itinerary with Belmond (previously Orient Express) properties, you’re going to stay at some of Peru most exciting lodgings: in Lima, the elegant, all-suite Belmond Miraflores Park Hotel; in the Sacred Valley, the Belmond Hotel Rio Sagrado, on the banks of the Rio Urubamba and designed to resemble an authentic Andean village; at Machu Picchu, the Belmond Sanctuary Lodge, perched mountaintop just steps away from Peru’s most famous Incan ruins; in Cusco, the beautiful Belmond Hotel Monasterio, occupying a 16th century monastery, built above an Inca palace.

Of course, come May 2017, Fiesta Tours will offer the perfect extension to this itinerary, and welcome you aboard the Belmond Andean Explorer, South America’s first luxury sleeper train. It will travel along one of the highest rail routes on earth, traversing the Peruvian Andes from Cusco to Lake Titicaca and Arequipa on the most memorable of one- or two-night experiences.

Program includes chauffeur-driven luxury sedan or luxury minivan at disposal for 12-hours per day while in Lima, Cusco and Sacred Valley; service of proficient tour guides with at least 15 years of experience, VIP welcome kit with Bulgari hands lotion, all transfers, all excursions and all meals a-la-carte.
